Orem, Utah-January 18, 2012-Victory Angel Films and Trumpett Productions jointly announce the feature film “Sweetwater” as an official selection of the 11th Annual LDS Film Festival 2012 starting January 26th. “Sweetwater” is a journey of two friends on a path to find the hidden cure for cancer after a family member’s fatal diagnosis. A turn of events leads the friends to quickly realize their lives are in danger if they expose the truth behind the hidden cure. Along the way they discover the true meaning of family, friends, love, and happiness.
“Sweetwater” was Written by Kim Hughes, Directed by Brian Skiba, and Produced by Laurie Love & Dominic Ross. This film is supported by an all-star cast including John Savage(The Deer Hunter, The Godfather: Part III, Fringe), William Katt(Greatest American Hero, Carrie, House), Dean Cain(Louis & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Out of Time, Ripley’s Believe it or Not), and introducing Holly Lynch.
